hosted blog software. A hosted blog is one where all data and the
publishing interface reside on the server of the blogging software
company. The alternative was an independent
blog software that must be downloaded from the blogging software
company and installed on your web
server. 
Now for users of IMS Voyager, there
is a third choice. Blogging software written by us that was
expressly designed and integrated with IMS Voyager for your blogging
needs.
Your blog's appearance and layout is controlled by the
same templates that are used
in IMS Voyager. Seamless integration with all of the following
features:
- easy to use web-based administration to add, edit and
delete news articles
- WYSIWYG easy-to-use text editor for publishing or
editing news articles
- optional forum to allow discussion
- optional comments on news articles to allow feedback
on announcements
- optional sticky articles that remain fixed on all
pages
- optional tags/categories on articles
- registered users allowed to leave comments on news
articles
- registered users allowed to post messages in the
forum
- valid HTML 1.1, valid CSS 1.0 and WAI
friendly (use IMS style sheets)
- valid XML RSS 1.0 feeds for both articles and forum
topics

IMS Software code is scalable,
proprietary and uses open
source architecture to allow licensed third party developers to
design compatible applications.
In particular: we use PHP a widely-used scripting language especially suited for Web development.
